MISSION

We are a Gospel-centered ministry that introduces people to Jesus Christ, teaches them to follow Him, and empowers them as leaders through the global environment of soccer.

VISION

To see lives transformed through teams that motivate people to follow Christ.

Virtues

  • We are playing a game that evokes a sense of fun, childlikeness, and freedom. The way we play our game should be a foreshadowing of and overflow from our relationship with Jesus. Our staff should be joy-filled and we hope that people who encounter our staff would desire to have this joy that is within us.

  • We want to have integrity in the game and around the game. We operate in the tension of professional excellence in a competitive environment while not idolizing performance as our identity.

  • We are bound to the full Gospel which acknowledges sin as the true problem with the world while pointing to the extravagant love of God for sinful and broken humanity evident in the cross of Jesus Christ.

  • The scope of where we strive to see Gospel change manifested is in the whole world. With courage stemming from the love of God, we seek to reach the next player, family, community, city, and country with the Gospel message through competitive sport.

Promises

  • We promise to offer an environment where you will be developed as a player as you progress through your soccer career. We promise that players of diverse spiritual backgrounds will hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and be mentored in how the game of soccer can develop their spiritual lives.

  • We promise you will serve in a culture that creates room for you and your gifts to mature spiritually and professionally. As an active member of a community of worship and work, you will be supported and developed to expand and sharpen the missional vision for your life.

  • We promise to empower you to build deeper relationships with youth in your community. We will encourage and equip you to start a Gospel-centered sports ministry by training your leaders. We will walk beside you by providing ongoing support to maximize the impact within your community.

  • We promise to faithfully steward the funds you invest in MAI to advance the mission and maximize Kingdom impact. We will do this with the highest accountability, integrity, and transparency levels. Your generosity will enable us to introduce people to Jesus Christ, teach them to follow Him, and empower them as leaders.
